Free Advertising Groups ~ A Tip: Don't be Obnoxious!

Today's tip is with regards to how you advertise on Free Advertising Groups.... DO NOT be Obnoxious!

What do I mean by Obnoxious? Overuse of special characters: # ~ ! $ % ^ * .... and so on.

Here are a few example of ways you SHOULD NOT title your email posts to these groups:

• ~^~^~^INFO YOU NEED~^~^~^READ ME~^~^~^
• %*%*%* THIS BIZ ROCKS %^%^%^%^
• ~&~& Come SEE MY SITE ~&~&~

Perhaps I am the only person (although I seriously doubt it) that is very annoyed by these kinds of messages.

You can make a statement without being obnoxious. Here are some suggestions for how the above titles COULD have read:

• Important Information You NEED!
• AWESOME Business Opportunity!
• Vist My Site! www.site-name-here.com

So, what is the bottom line? Special characters don't really do anything to draw attention to a message. On topic and to-the-point email titles are much more effective!
